Global Express XRS/5000 B1 Initial

Maintenance

This course is in compliance with EASA Part-66, Appendix III "Type Training and Examination Standard". The participant will acquire knowledge necessary to perform and certify maintenance tasks permitted to be carried out as certifying staff category B1. It provides ATA Level 3 detailed description, operation, component location, bite and troubleshooting procedures to a maintenance manual level consolidated via sessions in the Global Express XRS/5000 full-flight simulator (FFS).

Global Express XRS/5000 Technical T2 (B2) (Honeywell Primus II Avionic system)

Maintenance

This course is in compliance with EASA Part-66, Appendix III "Type Training and Examination Standard". The participant will acquire knowledge necessary to perform and certify maintenance tasks permitted to be carried out as certifying staff category B2. It provides ATA Level 3 detailed description, operation, component location, bite and troubleshooting procedures to a maintenance manual level consolidated via sessions in the Global Express XRS/5000 full-flight simulator (FFS).

10 days if client already holds the Global Express XRS/5000 B1 qualification

15 days if client does not hold the Global Express XRS/5000 B1 qualification

Global Express XRS/5000 Technical T4(C) Familiarization

Maintenance

It provides ATA Level 1 detailed description, operation, component location, bite and troubleshooting procedures to a maintenance manual level consolidated utilizing the CAE Global Express XRS/5000 simfinity simulator.

Global Express XRS/5000 Technical Engine Run and Taxi

Maintenance

Engine run (ground operations) training is included in the Global Express XRS/5000 Initial Type Course and is also available optionally while attending other courses. Engine run (ground operations) training carried out optionally is scheduled after normal class hours in the Global Express XRS/5000  Level 5 flight training device (FTD).

Taxi training is not included in the course but is available optionally while attending any course. Taxi training is scheduled after normal class hours and includes a one-half hour briefing and a two-hour practical training session in the Global Express XRS/5000 full-flight simulator (FFS).

Global Express XRS/5000 Technical Refresher/Recurrent

Maintenance

The Refresher/Update course provides the client with both systems review and troubleshooting information on aircraft systems that require troubleshooting in the field on the Global XRS/5000 aircraft.  The Refresher/Update Course furnishes the experienced technician who has attended the Initial Type or Avionics Course with information pertaining to systems that have been identified as requiring further knowledge due to improvements, updates, new software, and issues raised by the operators
